The two buildings – the Medical Ward Building of Hefei Second People's Hospital and the Research & Developing Center of Whirlpool Headquarters in Whirlpool Industrial Park, Hefei, constructed by Anhui Sanjian Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. - one of ACEG’s subsidiaries, professional contractor of civil engineering and construction, have claimed National Super Quality Awards 2020-2021.
The news was announced by China Association of Construction Enterprise Management the other day.
It is learned that the list of the winners of "National Super Quality Awards" are announced in batches per annum and awarded every two years. "National Super Quality Awards" were approved by The State Council and ranked the earliest and highest and cross-industry and cross-specialty national quality awards. The candidate projects cover various engineering and construction industries, including metallurgy, non-ferrous metals, coal, petrochemicals, power, water conservancy, railways, roads, municipal infrastructures and housing construction and so on and so forth.
The medical ward building project is located in Hefei city, the capital of eastern China’s Anhui province, with a total construction area of about 65,000 square meters. It is a 17-floor building with 1 basement, which is a comprehensive grade 3, class-A hospital integrating medical treatments, scientific research, teaching of medicine, disease prevention, health care, rehabilitation medicine and emergency treatment and more than 1,300 beds are provided to meet the needs of surrounding residents for medical resources. In addition to this award, the project has also won “the National safety and civilization standardization site”, “Huangshan Cup of Anhui Province”, “East China Cup”, “China installation engineering quality award”, “the Fifth batch of green construction demonstration project in construction industry”, “National innovation technology application demonstration project”, “Third prize of National BIM competition”, “National and provincial QC achievement award” and other awards.
The Research & Developing Center of Whirlpool Headquarters in Whirlpool Industrial Park, Hefei city, the capital of eastern China’s Anhui province, with a total construction area of about 60,000 square meters. It is a 16-floor building with 1 basement. The design of this project is quite unique and a so-called “spiral and hollow-square-shaped” layout was adopted and the frame-core tube structure is used for the main building. The project has previously won “Hefei safety and civilization demonstration site”， “Amber Cup”, “Huangshan Cup of Anhui Province”, “Safety Civilization Demonstration Site”, “National AAA Safety Civilization Standardization Site” and other awards.
