On September 14th, an inspection team for expatriate labor market order composed of officials from MOFCOM and MOFA, China International Contractors Association and Anhui Provincial Government visited ACEG Overseas Company for an inspection trip on promoting the supervision works of all segments of expatriate labor market order in key firms in Anhui Province and convened on-site dialogue meetings. Some CEOs with key firms in Anhui Province such as CREC4, MCC17, AFECC, ASCG, SINOTCC, Anhui Sijian, SINOCONST5, WUHU FOREIGN SERVICE and JIANCHENG participated in the meetings. Mr. Zhang Xingfu, Deputy Director of the Department of Cooperation of MOFCOM, hosted the meetings. Mr. Wang Houliang, Deputy G.M. of ACEG attended the meetings and gave a welcome speech.
Wang, on behalf of ACEG, expressed the warm welcome to the inspection team and hoped they give all-sided instructions and supervision to ACEG labor works. In the meeting, each company made a report on their expatriate labor work, the inspection team examined the reports and labor disputes prevention and treatment mechanism, related contracts signed with labors, personnel training records and other data and ledgers and also existing problems in expatriate labor work.
Zhang, showed gratitude for Wang’s welcome. He analyzed the current situation of the development of labor service cooperation abroad and expressed his full support for the legitimate labor services. He stressed that firms should make it explicit of the responsibilities on both parties, charge reasonable fees and make dispute resolutions while signing labor contracts. He requested that all companies should seriously carry out the investigation of expatriate laborers’ security situation, find hidden danger if any and rectify it timely and create a stable and harmonious atmosphere to meet the 19th CPC National Congress.
